June marks National Safety Month, a nationwide initiative led by the National Safety Council to raise awareness about preventing workplace injuries and fatalities. This year also marks the program's 30th anniversary, serving as a reminder that safety is not a one-time event—it's an ongoing commitment.

The importance of that commitment is clear. According to recent workplace safety data, more than 5,000 workers lose their lives on the job each year, while millions more suffer work-related injuries. Falls remain one of the leading causes of construction fatalities, accounting for hundreds of preventable deaths annually.
